Charcoal Studies
These charcoal studies are another way for me to explore the human figure. Each begins with one of my photographs and is reimagined through line, shading, and simplified form, with an emphasis on preserving the pose, expression, connection, and character of the original image. The finished pieces are created through a combination of AI-assisted interpretation and Photoshop editing.
